How does the digital locker work?

Here are the steps you could follow for your digital locker:

  • Sign up
  • Sync your Aadhar
  • Receive documents from the issuer
  • Share documents to requesters
  • Get verification

To avail additional services, provide your Aadhar number [issued by UIDAI(2)].

The residence could also apply for a new Election ID via the Digital Gujarat portal.

Installing the Security Certificate for NIC Application

Following are the steps to install the security certificate for your NIC application:

  • Save the Certificate on your device
  • Install the Certificate
  • Click Next on “Welcome to the Certificate Import Wizard”
  • Click Next on “Certificate Store”
  • Click Finish on “Completing the Certificate Import Wizard”
  • Click Yes if the security warning prompts to complete the installation process
  • Click OK on the “Certificate Import Wizard”
  • Check the “Accept this certificate permanently” and click OK to finish the installation.

Registration Procedure

Below you could follow to register with Digital Gujarat portal services:

  • Click on the Register for the new user registration procedure
  • Fill in the mandatory details like your Aadhar number, Date of birth, mobile number, email id, password and captcha
  • Click on the Save button.
  • Complete the registration procedure to successfully create your citizen profile

You could use two methods to login into the portal:

  • Citizen Login
  • Office Login

For Citizen Login

  • Click the Login button available on the home page of the platform
  • Select your login type via three options; Aadhar card, mobile number or email address
  • Upon successful login, you would be eligible for all the services available on the portal for you

For Office Login

  • Click on the “Office Login” available on the home page
  • Enter your username, password and captcha code

Track your Application Status with Digital Gujarat

You could verify and track your application via the Digital Gujarat portal. Click on the Check Status tab available on the site’s dashboard and fill the application details to check its status for your verification. If your application is approved, you could download the requested certificated via the “Download Issued Document” option from the portal.
