Will lockdown be extended?

Today is 11 April. PM Narendra Modi is currently (at the time of publication) having a meeting with the ministers of several states to make a final decision on the issue of lockdown.

Odisha and Punjab have already extended lockdown in their respective states till 30 May. Odisha has already declared that schools and colleges in the state will remain closed till 17 June.

Despite the increasing numbers, the Health Ministry has claimed that there is no community transmission of the COVID-19 virus. As a result, people should not panic.
