Soon to be launched online recruitment platform, KillerLaunch.com aims to help the vast numbers of job seekers in India by providing a platform that would make it easier for aspiring youth of India to land their dream jobs. The co-founder of KillerLaunch.com, Heena, said that their platform would help 30 million-plus job seekers in the country find a job instantly. 

 

Half of India’s population is below the age of 25.

India has a population of over 1.3 billion people, and half of the population is under the age of 25, which makes up for vibrant job-seeking youth, and KillerLaunch.com aims to cater to that demographic of the country. When asked about the current unemployment situation, the co-founder of the platform said that there is no denying that India has vast educated youth with graduation and post-graduation degrees who are not employed to their potential. But she added that things are changing, and India’s youth has the potential to change not only the country but the world.

KillerLaunch.com, the online recruitment platform, is set to launch at the end of February 2020. The co-founder revealed that the platform would allow employers to post jobs and internships on the platform for free. The other services that KillerLaunch.com will offer include a free resume builder for everyone and a feature that would allow instant chat between employers and job seekers.

Increasing jobs in the blockchain sector in India

The blockchain industry in India is among the top emerging sectors in the country, and the requirement for blockchain developers is at an all-time high. The blockchain sector in India is being adopted by several government institutes and as well as major private companies, which has created a demand for blockchain experts in the country. Currently, the top free job portals that are dominating the Indian market are Naukri.com and Indeed.co.in. Naukri.com has a database of about 49.5 million registered job seekers. This platform is used by small-scale startups to big MNCs to recruit candidates for jobs and internships. Naukri.com was founded by the Indian businessman Sanjeev Bikchandani in March 1997. This job portal dominates the Indian market as 15,000 resumes are added daily, and about 130,000 resumes are modified yearly.

The other job portal giant in the Indian market is Indeed. The online recruitment platform has a presence in 60 countries and sees 140 million job seekers monthly. According to the company, a job is added on the platform every 10 seconds globally. The competition among job portals is quite high, and currently, Naukri.com and Indeed, .co.in are dominating the Indian market.
