Milestones Achieved Under Gupta's Leadership

Ashutosh Gupta, the India country manager and APAC head of online sales for LinkedIn Marketing Solutions, has announced his departure from the company at the end of April, marking the end of an 11-year journey.

During Gupta's tenure, LinkedIn achieved several significant milestones, including the launch of the Hindi language feature, aimed at enhancing member engagement and value extraction from the platform. Under his leadership, the platform's membership in India crossed the 100 million mark, enabling marketers to leverage its full potential for greater business impact.

LinkedIn's Future Plans and Leadership Transition

"We thank Ashutosh for his decade of dedicated service and wish him all the best for the future. As we continue to grow and scale our business in this strategic market, our APAC and India leadership teams will lean in as we finalize the appointment of a new country manager for India," the company said in a statement.

Apart from his role at LinkedIn, Gupta is an active member of TiE and Delhi State Council, showcasing his commitment to fostering entrepreneurial growth and development in the region. His professional journey also includes significant roles at renowned companies such as Google and Cognizant.

LinkedIn, currently boasting a membership of around 120 million in India, aims to harness the power of AI to impact more than half of India's jobs. Last year, the platform introduced a free voluntary ID verification feature, leveraging Aadhaar Card and Indian phone numbers, in collaboration with HyperVerge, a third-party identity verification service utilizing DigiLocker for secure verification processes.
