Economic Crisis

The trade impact for India is projected at $129 million for the chemicals industry, $64 million for textiles and apparel, $34 million for the automotive industry, $12 million for electrical machinery, $13 million for leather goods, $27 million for minerals and metal goods and $15 million for wood-based products and furniture.

Avoid Larger Gathering

Godrej Industries, Hindustan Unilever, and Flipkart asked their workers to avoid large-scale meetings. The Aditya Birla Group has informed its employees to avoid any event or gathering with more than 15 people.

Pm Modi tweeted that no central government minister will travel overseas in upcoming days and also advised people to avoid non-essential travel. Moreover, he added that the spread could be stopped and ensure safety by avoiding large gatherings. (3)
