COVID-19 Live Updates – 5734 Cases in the Country as of 9th April 2020
There is a constant increase in the numbers despite the nationwide lockdown. The government is now scared of the future. Hence, they are doing whatever they can to stop the virus from spreading. But things have been out of control since the happening at Nizamuddin.
Recent Developments in the situation
- Maharashtra, the most affected area so far, has registered 1,135 positive cases.
- More than 15 lakh people are infected all across the globe.
- There are indications that the government will not fully lift the lockdown on 15th April.
- Ministers from various states have requested the Central government to extend the lockdown for people’s benefit.
