BluSmart, EV Ride-Hailing Platform Secures 51 Crore INR

On Monday, the electric ride-hailing startup BluSmart (1) announced that it had raised over 51 Crore INR or seven million USD. It received the fundings from its multiple investors in the pre-series A funding round.

The startup will use the latest fundings to increase its total number of cars. It will also set up more infrastructure for charging, expand its geographical reach, and improve its technologies, as per the company’s statement.

The electronic ride-hailing startup BluSmart had raised three million USD in its previous round of funding. The last funding seed round was held in the last year in September. There were also talks about raising the debt of the venture.

BluSmart Aiming to Provide the Highest Quality in the EV Mobility Space

Anmol Singh Jaggi, Co-founder of BluSmart Mobility, said that the startup aims to bring new narratives in the EV mobility space. BlueSmart is planning to give the highest quality service, as per the evidence by the ratings of their app. Notably, the app rating of BluSmart is among all the platforms in the ride-sharing space.

Inflection Point Ventures, Survam Partners, Venture Catalysts, Chhattisgarh Investments Limited, Mumbai Angels, Lets Venture Funds, JITO Angels, and Kaplavriksh Fund participated in the latest BluSmart funding round.

The startup offers electronic cabs to passengers in Delhi and NCR. Its USPs include mobility of zero surges, mobility at zero emissions, and zero ride denials. The recently launched EV ride-hailing firm also offers hourly rentals commodities. It allows passengers to travel anywhere, anytime, and everywhere in Delhi and Gurgaon with multiple stops.

Punit K Goyal, another Co-founder of BluSmart, added that they are also looking for ways to increase EV uptake. The startup is trying to expand infrastructure for electric car charging. It will allow passengers to practice easy charging, he further stated.

The Gurugram based startup has claimed that it has covered over 2,00,000 clean trips. The EV ride-hailing platform BluSmart added that it had completed over five million clean Kms. The startup has also partnered with leading electric manufactures and features mobility technology in the world.
