Elon Musk is on a roll with his launches and big plans as he recently revealed the Tesla Cybertruck during an event. The Tesla Cybertruck is an electric pickup truck that comes with the capabilities of an every day offroader with the environment safe working. The billionaire said that the transportation tunnel that his startup, Boring Co., is building in Las Vegas is expected to be operational by 2020.

This subterranean transit project in the US resort city costs $48.7 million, and this is the only major project of the company by far. Another project that they are working on is a mile-long tunnel in Hawthorne, California. Construction and other preliminary work for the project started in Las Vegas in September.

The minute tunnel

Musk talked about the new startup and said that his company would take up more projects in the next time once the project work for the tunnel is complete. The transportation network would allow users to travel from one end of the sprawling convention center to the other in one minute in Tesla electric vehicles.

Recently, Tesla has been facing issues with their Tesla electric vehicles as some of the cars failed to prove their safety standards and caused major accidents and, in some cases, tragic deaths for the owners. This problem was faced with the Tesla autopilot systems when it failed to detect the traffic in the road and act upon it.
