GoodGamer (1), Bengaluru-based daily fantasy sports and true Esports gaming app, has secured 2.5 million USD. An undisclosed group of investors led its seed funding round. The company is planning to use a fresh tranche exclusively for user acquisition.
The parent company of the GoodGamer app, GoodGamer Corp, is located in Vancouver, British Columbia. In September 2020, the company had officially launched its daily fantasy sports and true Esports gaming app in India.
The launched app focuses on fantasy cricket and counter-strike: global offensive (CS: GO) to sync with the Indian Premier League. Moreover, GoodGamer’ subsidiary of Good Gamer India Private Limited manages its operations, marketing, and customer services. Ravi Nagarajachar, the former Vancouverite and VP of Operation, lead these services.
GoodGamer Pushing for Growth and to Offer Best Experience to Its Users
The fantasy app GoodGamer is a skilled-based platform where users can participate daily in fantasy contests and win real money in the prize. The company further claims that it has reached 250K registered users with the first month of its launch.
While commenting on the development, Ravi stated that the first-month operation results have proven that India is an excellent market for the company as we always knew. The team is continually working and pushing towards the growth and offer the best experience to our users.
Ravi further added that the GoodGamer team would soon introduce several new experiences and skilled-based gaming styles that Indian users have never seen before, including prop contests.
Notably, the fantasy gaming platform, GoodGamer, is the world’s first fantasy cricket app that offers proposition contests or prop contests to its users. Prop contests are based on specific events of the game, independent of the outcome. The platform is now running a guaranteed one lakh daily prize pool with a 1 INR entry fee.
