Although we will cover news and updates of entrepreneurs who work day and night to achieve their dreams, we want to include an important aspect – What is real happiness?

We, as entrepreneurs, have chosen our careers and aspire to earn money by giving our best of duties to achieve happiness in life. But in different phases of life, we always do not get what we expect or aspire. Especially at the beginning stages of our career, we have to face many challenges in our profession. The market is full of competitions and somehow or the other we have also jumped into the rat race. Business hovers over our head, and our tiny brain is almost disturbed and eaten away by the bug of this competition.

Are we really happy?

Hey, guys hold on. Let us, first of all, contemplate upon real happiness and how to achieve it. Real happiness is not in material competition. Our scriptures guide us spiritually how to attain real peace and prosperity in life.

Let us look upon them so that material ups and downs in our business may not upset us. Our aim should be how to get real happiness even if the results do not come according to our expectations. Have you ever noticed that the happiness which we are seeking and which comes our way is temporary and flickering? It comes and goes away, leaving us again in distress, and then again we try to find it working day and night. Even after working so hard, the results are not to our expectations and where is the happiness-the real one? Is it permanent? It only comes and goes leaving us in despair at the end of the day.

We are unaware of the real happiness and actual purpose of life. We are running behind temporary short goals of life. Human life is meant for self-realization. According to Vedic civilization, the perfection of human life is to realize one’s relationship with Krsna or God.

In Bhagwad Gita which is accepted by all authorities in transcendental science, we understand that we are part and parcel of the Supreme Lord Krsna. But due to material consciousness, we have forgotten that relationship and are trying to find happiness in dead material things not knowing that that dead matter is Krsna’s external energy.

Lord Krsna says in Bhagwad Gita 9.10

maya adhyaksena prakriti suyate sa characharam..

(This nature is working under My direction).

But in ignorance, we are trying to control the material energy of the Lord and try to enjoy it without taking into consideration the actual owner of the material energy. In such a state of consciousness, we are trying to find happiness. How can we become happy like that? We try to enjoy our senses forgetting the real enjoyer Krsna and land up in threefold miseries.

Happiness is generally perceived through our senses. Due to our uncontrolled senses, we are entangled in this material world, not knowing the purpose of the human form of life and how to fulfill it.

If somehow we realize that we being eternal souls, our aim of life is not simply to satisfy our uncontrolled mind and senses which even animals do, then we can turn our face to actual spiritual happiness and make our lives successful.

In Bhagwad Gita Lord Krsna says

mam eva ansha jeeva loka jeeva bhuta sanatana…

All the living entities, including animals and plants, are My part and parcel.

Therefore we are duty-bound to serve Him. If we do our prescribed duties to satisfy the Supreme Lord Krsna, then that is perfection. In our present material consciousness, we forget that we are the eternal soul and are part and parcel of the Supreme Lord. In such an uncontaminated consciousness, we consider ourselves this body and aspire to keep it happy by any mean, but we being eternal souls can never become happy and satisfied in this way. Only by the process of devotional service to the Lord, real happiness can be attained. Krsna consciousness is already there in everyone’s heart, but due to material conditioning, we have forgotten it.

By chanting the hare Krsna maha-mantra-

Hare Krsna Hare Krsna, Krsna Krsna Hare Hare

Hare Rama Hare Rama, Rama Rama Hare Hare

we can revive our lost Krsna consciousness which is already present in our heart in a dormant state.

During our entrepreneurship, we should be satisfied with whatever comes our way through our destiny and Lord’s mercy and not be disturbed by downfalls because that is not the goal of life. Target should be that in my endeavor have I satisfied Lord Krsna. Am I working for His satisfaction? Have I found out time to read the great scripture Bhagwad Gita along with my family and visit to take darshan of the Lord who is the cause of all causes?

Contemplating in such a way and having full faith and dependency upon the Lord we can certainly live in peace and not get disturbed by ups and downs in our attempt of career because if we think of the real goal of life that is to satisfy the Supreme Lord Krsna, then small temporary goals will not disturb us.
