Thyrocare Acquires Think Health Diagnostics to Expand ECG Services at Home

Thyrocare, owned by PharmEasy, is acquiring Think Health Diagnostics to expand its ECG services at home. This strategic move will also allow Thyrocare to enter the insurance segment.

PharmEasy's diagnostic platform, Thyrocare, is set to acquire Chennai-based Think Health Diagnostics, along with its subsidiary, to offer ECG services at home. The acquisition, facilitated by a share swap agreement, marks a significant step in expanding Thyrocare's services. Besides enhancing ECG services, this strategic move will enable Thyrocare to tap into the insurance sector.

Think Health Diagnostics currently operates in ten cities across India, including Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kanpur, and Mumbai. This acquisition will create a robust phlebotomy network, boasting over 100 trained phlebotomists who can provide ECG services at home, complementing Thyrocare's existing network of 900+ blood-collection phlebotomists.

Karkavel, CEO, and Director of Think Health Diagnostics, expressed optimism about the acquisition, stating, "United, we look forward to a future of expansion and growth, committed to serving a wider patient base and delivering the best possible healthcare experience."

Thyrocare is renowned for being one of India's oldest diagnostic laboratories, having earned internationally recognized quality accreditations as early as 2001. The company operates in over 2,000 cities and towns, serving both national and international clients. Its extensive test profile menu is widely utilized by laboratories and hospital brands across the country.

The acquisition further strengthens Thyrocare's position in the healthcare sector, aligning with the company's commitment to providing top-quality diagnostics services.
