Sudha Chandran
Eminent Bollywood Actress Sudha Chandran was born on 27th September 1965. She is an excellent dancer and a mind-blowing actress. She is also an accomplished Bharatnatyam dancer. She is an inspiration for many youths for the way she handled her life in spite of all shackles.
Sudha Chandran’s leg accident
In 1981, while coming back from Madras along with her parents, Sudha Chandran met with an accident due to which her leg became gangrenous. Such was the effect of gangrene on her leg that her parents decided to get it amputated. This phase was, in actual, the toughest part of her life as she loved dancing to the core.
She regained all her lost mobility by using the prosthetic Jaipur foot, and within two years, she was back to dancing the way she was doing it before.
She has performed brilliantly and has given dance performances in almost all countries in the world which included Saudi Arabia, India, United States, Canada, UK, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, Yemen, and UAE.
Sudha Chandran’s Biography:
Her biography is a part of the school curriculum in most schools for the age groups between 8-11. For her immense popularity and the way she has brought up herself in her life, she got awarded with the honorary doctorate by Inventis University, Bareilly.
She is from Kerala and holds and Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Arts and Economics. She married the renowned assistant director of Bollywood, Mr. Ravi Dang, in 1994.
The Bollywood film ‘Nache Mayuri’ is the feature film adaptation of her life story. She starred as the lead actress in this film as most people thought she would be the right choice to fit in this role. The film got released initially in Telugu, but due to its immense popularity, it got remade into Hindi, Tamil, and Malayalam languages.
Her performance was so fantastic in this film, and she got awarded with the Special Jury Award at the 1986 National Film Awards. Presently Sudha Chandra is a popular actress in both Television and Film Industries.
Sudha Chandran Professional Life:
She was also a contestant in the popular reality show Jhalak Dikhla Jaa season 2. Her notable works in the television industry include Kahin Kissi Roz, The Naagin Series, and K Street Pali Hill.
Though she has spread a positive aura among the people around, she always gets cast into negative characters or roles because of the vibe and charm her acting possesses. She brings life into any aspect, and as the negative characteristics are very tough to perform, the Television industry has no other replacement other than Sudha Chandran, who can carry out negative characters with ease.
