The entire Bollywood industry was in a state of shock as they learned that Irrfan Khan was no more with us. Irrfan Khan had a viral fan base, and many Bollywood and Hollywood actors had immense respect for him. Some popular movies which started Irrfan Khan were Slumdog Millionaire, Life of Pi, Jurassic World, Hindi Medium, etc. The acting was incredibly genuine, and he even directed a few movies. The entire world of cinema is in a state of mourning today. According to a report, Irrfan Khan was suffering from Cancer. Many Bollywood actors and other top officials paid their respects to Irrfan Khan and shared some of their moments and feelings on social media like Twitter and Instagram.

Bollywood actors pay their tributes to Irrfan Khan:

Bollywood star Amitabh Bachchan tweeted:

“.. just getting news of the passing of Irrfan Khan… this is the most disturbing and sad news. An incredible talent.. a gracious colleague .. a prolific contributor to the World of Cinema .. left us too soon .. creating a huge vacuum.”

Similarly, the king of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan, tweeted,

“My friend…inspiration & the greatest actor of our times. Allah blesses your soul Irrfan Bhai…will miss you as much as cherish the fact that you were part of our lives.”

Aamir Khan, who is now working on a remake of Forrest Gump in Bollywood, and was one of the biggest fans of Irrfan Khan, also shared his feelings on Twitter, the actor tweeted,

“Very sad to hear about our dear colleague Irrfan. How tragic and sad. Such wonderful talent. My heartfelt condolences to his family and friends. Thank you, Irrfan, for all the joy you have brought to our lives through your work. You will be fondly remembered.”

Priyanka Chopra, who started with Irrfan Khan in 7 Khoon Maaf tweeted that,

“The charisma you brought to everything you did was pure magic. Your talent forged the way for so many in so many avenues. You inspired so many of us. #IrrfanKhan you will truly be missed. Condolences to the family.”

Shabana Azmi, who is now working on the movie ‘Halo,’ tweeted,

“Deeply saddened to learn that #Irffan Khan passed away this morning. Gone too soon .. such a powerful actor and how bravely he fought back the Cancer. It’s a big loss not only to his family but to the entire film industry. RIP.”

Actor Nimrat Kaur, who starred with Irrfan Khan in the movie ‘Lunchbox,’ which was played in the Cannes film festival, shared his sorrow and grief by tweeting,

“Words fail to describe my sense of shock and horror to learn about Irrfan Khan’s passing away. My prayers and deepest condolences are with the family at this grave hour. India has lost one of her biggest icons today. Our world left for the poorer.”
