Katrina launches Beauty and cosmetics line Kay Beauty!
Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif launched her beauty and cosmetics line Kay Beauty in partnership with popular beauty retailer Nykaa in October last year.
Katrina had started working on the brand since 2017, as starting a brand was a big responsibility.

“you have a responsibility when you are putting a product on somebody’s face. It’s a big responsibility, and that’s why I take it very seriously, whether it was the formulation stage or whether it was the factory that was going to make the products, I knew it had to be perfect and best.”
What is the brand about?
The make-up brand was launched to aim Asian skin colors, tones, and textures specifically through her brand. Katrina wants to celebrate the uniqueness and different representations of Beauty.
The brand offers a complete make-up range that comprises powders, foundations, highlighters, concealers, contours, stick contours, powder contours, and more.
Katrina says the products are currently available only in India and plans to take it to other countries with a significant Asian population. Katrina hopes with the infrastructure at Nykaa and passionate partners, Nykaa founders Falguni Nayar and Reena Chhabra, she would be able to take the brand to the next level.

Katrina was able to rope in Zoya Akhtar on board for Kay Beauty’s campaign – #ItsKayToBeYou. The brand is made for everyone; Kay Beauty is not a type of brand where I am saying that this is what our idea of Beauty is or me saying that you should look like this. Kay Beauty is about everyone looking the way they look, she says.
Kay Beauty products are priced between Rs249 and Rs 799, which are available across 50 Nykaa stores, online and on App.
