AI or Artificial intelligence can solve several social challenges in India while acting as an inclusion enabler. Hence, we need to identify and promote such innovative solutions to make society better. The aim of the AI Solution Challenge at Raise 2020 is to encourage innovative AI Solutions by Indian startups.
The AI Startup Pitch Fest (1) has announced 21 AI startups from several industries including, healthcare, smart mobility, transportation, edtech, agriculture, and more. From 21 AI startups, 15 were winners, and six were mentioned because of their outstanding work. A special panel of jury of industry, academia, and government experts, decided the winners.
The Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, while announcing the winners added that each categories top winners would also receive a cash reward of 20 lakh INR each. Consequently, the startups would showcase their solutions to the world and VC because of the competition.
