So, is WFH productive?

It depends on how we leverage the opportunity. It is likely that employees may seep into complacency and may see the line between work and the home getting blurred.

But, when properly trained, WFH may work wonders. Out of all, the most important – it can create a huge pool of global talents. It may also bring about inclusivity in jobs by allowing women and disabled people to join the workforce.

How are startups like Swiggy pulling it off?

So, to avail work from home, employees must work for a specified duration in the base office. Once they get comfortable with the work culture and protocol, work from home is allowed.

So finally, they have set a flexible cycle of work and leisure as the foundation of employment while keeping their ears open to the pulse and feedback of managers and leaders.

“We will continue to actively invest in reimagining employee experience, innovations in work, and work experience to build a truly remote-first organization,” said the HR head at Swiggy.
