Joining the list of startups Mesho, Spinny, Zerodha, and Swiggy allows most of its employees to work from home.

The firm started in 2014 now has employees in 487 cities and 27 states of the country. While announcing Work From Home, the delivery app stated that the decision was based on the team’s needs and attested that working from home in the past has created more productivity. [1]

So, is WFH productive?

It depends on how we leverage the opportunity. It is likely that employees may seep into complacency and may see the line between work and the home getting blurred.

“We will continue to actively invest in reimagining employee experience, innovations in work, and work experience to build a truly remote-first organization,” said the HR head at Swiggy.
