Mona Shourie Kapoor is the former ex-wife of famous Bollywood producer Boney Kapoor and the daughter of Sattee Shourie. She was born in Delhi on 3rd February 1964. She is also the proud parent of Bollywood superstar Arjun Kapoor and stars kid Anshula Kapoor.

As already mentioned, she was the first wife of successful Bollywood producer Boney Kapoor before he married Sridevi. She has two children from Boney Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, the son who made his acting debut in Bollywood through the movie ‘Ishaqzaade.’

She also has a daughter by the name Anshula Kapoor who graduated from the famous Ecole Mondiale World School and worked at Google India for a particular period.

She had a split from her husband, Boney Kapoor, in 1996, but still, Mona continued to line with her in-laws. She lived with her two children until her death, which was due to multiple organ failure in 25th March 2012. It is also said that Mona Shourie Kapoor’s death was also due to cancer and hypertension.

Mona Shourie Kapoor was the CEO of Future Studios, which was the most significant, fully-furnished indoor shooting studio at that time in Mumbai. She was a multi-faceted personality and successfully handled her ancestral business as well as partnered her husband’s business.

She was the producer of the popular show ‘Hera Pheri’ and also another famous movie ‘Farishtey,’ which starred Dharmendra, Vinod Khanna, Rajanikanth, and Sridevi in lead roles. She also produced some more notable shows and films such as Yug, Wilayatee Babu, and Kaise Kahoon. She was one of the jury members at the Indian Telly Awards held in 2005.
