He further talked about how the world is appreciating India’s net-zero commitment by 2070.

“I am glad that Rotary International is actively working on offering clean drinking water, hygiene, and sanitation,” he said while making a statement. PM Modi also added that 1.4 billion citizens of the country are taking every possible measure to make our planet cleaner and greener during his address at the 119th Rotary International Convention 2022.

In addition, PM Modi also emphasized the Atmanirbhar Bharat movement and how it is taking shape in the country.

PM Modi Emphasizing Self-Reliant India

Prime Minister Modi emphasized making India self-sufficient and urged Indians to contribute to global development.

India is celebrating its 75th anniversary of sovereignty from colonial domination. A new collaborative movement has emerged to save water. In a final remark at Rotary International Convention 2022, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the movement is motivated by our age-old customs of water conservation combined with modern technologies.

Given that India is home to one-seventh of the world’s population, every achievement by India will have a favorable impact on the rest of the globe, he said. For example, PM Modi referenced the Covid-19 vaccine story and plans to eliminate tuberculosis by 2025, five years ahead of the worldwide objective of 2030.

PM Modi had also encouraged the Rotary family to join him in supporting these grassroots endeavors. They were also asked to participate in Yoga Day in big numbers worldwide.
