Club Factory has gained a lot of popularity in the country for its low prices on the platform. But does the platform sell real or fake products?

Fashion Industry is a significant industry in the global marketplace worth more than seven trillion dollars. Such a large amount of capital in the textile and apparel industry shows that there are thousands of big and small brands that are competing with each other in a market place. This means that with increased competition in the market, there are chances of the designs getting copied by some industries, and they can sell those under different branding at the same price.

There are times when knock-offs of high-end brands are available in the market, which are sold at low prices, which ruins the value of the brand and the exclusivity of the brand itself. Brands like Adidas, Puma, Reebok, Nike, and others have been facing these problems from the past do many years where mass production of first copy clothing and footwear takes place in India. Recently, the market place of first copy clothing has expanded as brands like Louis Vuitton, Hermes, Hublot, and other big brands are getting attacked by this market. Amid this, an online platform, Club Factory, has emerged that offers clothes at such massive discounts that it makes you question whether the products offered on the website are legit or fake.

Indian consumers are considered as “discount hunters” who opt for Chinese online retailers and market places because of their low prices. In 2018, the e-commerce platform raised $100 million in a Series C for funding from investors like IDG Capital, Kunlun Capital, and Bertelsmann Asia Investment (BAI).

Note: In 2018, Ranveer Singh and Manushi Chhillar were appointed as the brand ambassadors in India.

Are Club Factory products real or not? Club Factory reviews

Club Factory is one name that has gained a lot of popularity in the country for its low prices on the platform, and this leads to many issues for the company as well. They had some problems with the Indian Customs and GST authorities, but despite that, Club Factory listed and stocked their platform with bulks of fake products to be sold to their customers.

The platform offers as far as 90% off on products with MRP of INR 10,000, and they are selling it without any issues. There are listings for Titan watches, Sports jackets with various brandings that are available at 60%-90% discounts. The website claims to have “high quality” products that go through “5 quality checks and 12 strict guidelines,” yet they sell them with no fear. Some products might be genuine, but with a website that has such bad reviews of the products on YouTube and other platforms, it’s hard to trust them in terms of authenticity of the products.
