Online hospitality and travel platform Yatra is all set to enter edtech through its partnership with upGrad Enterprise, the B2B segment of the edtech startup upGrad. With this partnership, Yatra will be foraying its way into the edtech segment.

Yatra said that the partnership would enable its corporate clients to deliver advanced learning and skill development for their employees. The parties revealed no financial details.

Dhruv Shringi, Co-Founder & CEO at Yatra (1), stated that during an economic crisis like this, it becomes important to develop and re-skill the workforce to efficiently overcome new challenges.

Yatra’s association with upGrad will help provide a platform to the clients looking to develop their employees’ potential specific to the field or industry.

The partnership enables Yatra to become an end-to-end business solution provider to its clients.

upGrad was founded by Ronnie Screwvala, Mayank Kumar, Phalgun Kompalli, and Ravijot Chugh in 2015 and had over 30,000 paid learners on board with them.

The edtech platform has impacted over 500,000 lives globally in its short span of operation.
