Introduction
Milind Soman (54), popularly known as the ‘Made in India’ man has made his special place on the global stage with his adventurous works, much more than an average actor in today’s times. A model by profession he moved to India in 1973 with his family from his birthplace-Glasgow, Scotland. He studied at Dr. Antonio Da Silva High School and Jr. College of Commerce in Mumbai and later did his Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
An avid sportsman from the mere age of 10, Milind is an international swimmer and has represented Maharashtra in multiple competitions. He also is a dedicated runner, an ambassador for Pinkathon and is a Limca record holder for running 1500 km in 30 days’ time for greenathon.
To add another feather to his hat, he had completed the Ironman challenge in 15 hours and 19 minutes which is basically a triathlon including a 3.8 km swim, a 2 km cycle ride and a 42.3 km run race without a break.
Moreover, he has also set international running competitions known all over the globe, giving professional players a run for their money.

Soman and his current wife and air hostess Ankita Konwar tied the knot with a beautiful and glamorous wedding at Alibaug. These two share a love for running and all things environment-friendly and have been out and about championing various causes and also promoting a healthy and fit lifestyle since their courtship period.
Despite having a 26-year age gap, with the Assamese beauty, Ankita (28) the couple are known to share a wonderful camaraderie and have palpable chemistry. Sharing the same interests they have taken to traveling the world on their feet and being avid supporters of all environment-friendly movements.
Milind Soman had earlier been married a French Actress Mylene Jampanoi who he met on the sets of his 2006 film Valley of Flowers. Fortunately for Ankita, they parted ways after two years in 2008 and officially divorced the very next year.

The model-cum-actor-turned fitness promoter has a very millennial Instagram handle. His admiration for his lady love is very evident from his Instagram feed along with fitness photos and positive captions.

Milind Soman Girlfriends
Despite being a golden boy of the industry one aspect of Soman’s life has been filled with ups and downs. His past girlfriends and personal life always instigated a controversy until he settled with Ankita.
His first girlfriend which garnered the media’s attention was Madhu Sapre (1). She was a model from Maharashtra who was the second runner up in the prestigious Miss Universe pageant in 1992 and came back to India to launch a successful modeling career. Their relationship was a landmark in the ’90s, especially since they revealed that they lived together in Mumbai and had sparked the only controversy in Soman’s life which was linked with a particular photoshoot.
Milind Soman is also said to have dated Shahana Goswami, which was his first serious relationship after his marriage with Mylene. They had a 21-year age gap which was critiqued by the media but they soon broke off for Milind to date his co-star from two movies, Dipannita Sharma.
After this breakup, Milind was also in the headlines for allegedly dating his co-stars from his film Jurm in 2005, Gul Panag but this rumor was never officially acknowledged by the duo.
After a few years of bachelorhood, Milind finally settled with Ankita in 2018.
Soman’s Career
Milind Soman shot to fame with Alisha Chinai’s music video in 1995 and since then has donned many hats and won many hearts over the decades.
His career began with India’s first-ever TV Series in English- ‘A mouthful of Sky’ in 1995 after which he did many films and commercials. He produced shows like ‘Margarita’, acted in India’s first sci-fi series, ‘Captain Vyom’ and played an integral role in shows like ‘16 December’, ‘Pyar ki Varsha’ and the famous Made in India.
Additionally, he has also done commendable work in films like ‘Bheja Fry’, ‘Do paise ki dhoop, chaar aane ki baarish,’ Nakshatra and Agent Hamilton.
Milind Soman has dabbled his hand with reality shows like Fear Factor as well and has done a lot of work in over three languages. (Marathi, Telugu, Hindi, English, Swedish, etc.)
Very recently he had played integral roles in Bajirao Mastani, Chef, Mukti, Tiranga, and Four More shots, please.
