Indian hospitality unicorn, OYO’s co-working venture OYO Workspaces announced its new space in Cannaught Place, New Delhi, with a capacity of 200 seats.

The homegrown had announced its foray into the co-working segment with the acquisition of Innov8, one of the best co-working spaces in India, in July. OYO is targetting to reach 50 centers by the end of the year with 35,000 seats.

In a statement given by OYO, it said that it had opened Innov8 Connaught Place 2 center in the prominent Regal building. This would be Innov8’s second space in CP.

Rohit Kapoor, CEO – new real estate businesses, at OYO stated, “Co-working as a category has transformed the industry in recent years thanks to the transient nature of workspaces that many startups are choosing to adopt.”

He added that the company was confident that its product has the edge over the others with location, technology, design, and community building being its key drivers.

The center has already started to receive bookings from great brands like Yulu Bikes and Airbucks India within days of its launch. OYO Workspaces has 22 centers and about 15,000 seats across ten cities under three co-working brands- namely WorkFlo, Powerstation, and Innov8- operating nationwide in mid-scale and premium economy parts.
