Kartik Gurmule got the idea of starting Kasa during a family trip to Italy, where Kartik wanted a Chelsea ankle boot. Upon visiting the Italian factory where the shoes were made, Kartik noticed that each shoe featured buttons with elastic closures similar to the kind big brands produced in Italy and France. Inspired by the possibility of creating more jobs and improving the lives of residents, Kartik decided to expand his interest in shoes.

Hitting the first milestone

Kartik believes that proving the concept to himself and the people around him was the first milestone of his journey. Kartik personally created GIFs, Videos, and Images for his Facebook Ads Account Surprisingly which costed him 1/4th the amount it costed luxury brands to run the ads, which helped Kartik select people’s favorite shoes, the most important thing was, the results told that KASA has a good shot in the market, and people like the collection a lot.


Current Growth of KASA

The company has flourished so well in no time and had been entirely profitable since day one. The company observed a growth rate of around 15% per quarter of a year. The company plans to set up a physical store in NewYork/London in 2021.
