How Tata Group drove into the e-commerce world with Tata CLiQ
H

In the past few years, we have seen many technological advancements in the country, from bank transfers to loan approvals to filling up government documents; everything has moved online. This shift has made it easier for people to carry out specific tasks from the comfort of their homes. This shift of technology introduced the country to the concept of e-commerce and online shopping.

The two major companies that took this concept to a whole new level are Amazon and Flipkart. These industrial e-retailers introduced these platforms to the nation, and the acceptance by people was better than expected. These companies are the reason that started the wave of online marketplaces as well as provided a sense of security to the customer and making them confident enough to shop online. This customer acquisition is made at the cost of over-the-top marketing and huge discounts, which causes high cash burns for the platforms.
