Video analytics startup Wobot Intelligence has raised an undisclosed amount of investment from the leading venture capital firm Sequoia India. The company plans to use the freshly raised funding to expand the presence of its video analytics platform globally.
Wobot Intelligence will further be utilizing the freshly raised funding to strengthen its technology platform and its team, while making some key executive appointments, expanding sales & marketing while accelerating product development.
The fresh capital comes at a time when the world has seen a rising focus on hygiene and safety due to the current COVID-19 situation. The CCTV market is estimated to grow at a compound annual growth rate of approximately 11% YoY globally as compared to the pre-COVID levels, as reported by ET (1).
Detecting irregularities in an organization’s SOPs
Founded by Adit Chhabra, Tapan Dixit, and Tanay Dixit in 2017, Wobot’s technology allows users to connect CCTV and cameras to monitor process compliance while detecting irregularities in an enterprise’s SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).
The company offers video analytics for SOPs that include hygiene, safety, productivity, & customer experience to clients across industries.
