We all have heard that there are always some things which money cannot buy. No matter how good your company is doing, if you don’t have a smile when you come back to your home, it isn’t worth it. No matter how high a paycheque you’re getting, at the end of the day, you need to be content. You’ll always need the presence of your loved ones to feel complete. Such is the story behind the man who laid the foundations of “Cool N Fire”.
Introducing you all to, the founder of “Cool N Fire,” Amandeep Singh.
A Sugary Childhood
Amandeep Singh is the youngest child in his family having two elder sisters. He tells us that all the family members showered their love upon him and that he loves his simple yet memorable childhood. He was born and raised in Patiala.
“Marketing has been in my blood since the very beginning,”
he says.
When Amandeep Singh was a teenager, of about fourteen or fifteen years of age, he started to lend his father a helping hand in his printing business. He vividly remembers that in his eighth standard, he used to wander across the town offering the businessmen for visiting cards. Back in the years 2000 to 2001, it used to cost a thousand bucks for printing colored visiting cards. He learned the art of marketing from his father and would bring a lot of customers with his gathered wisdom and experience.
“I used to tell the owners of a shop that they would get a printed visiting card along with a picture on them.”
It meant a great deal to them and most of them agreed upon getting a card with their photograph on the side. It was a lot of fun and what I gained from interacting with people at such an early age is commendable. To date, my marketing skills give me a higher edge.
Opening of New Doors
Amandeep Singh got a luring job offer in Africa. It involved the marketing of a medicinal firm. He flew there and worked there for seven long years. He was having a gala time as he had got a job at which he was unbeatable. He came to India once a year to give his examinations for his graduation. Managing the job as well as his studies didn’t scare him. He completed his graduation by opting for a corresponding course and did well in his exams.
The job at the medical firm was going beyond his expectations. He learned the importance of organic food with no adulterations and preservatives there. His life was bliss but the only thing missing was his family. The thought that he was miles away from his home crossed his mind when his father got unwell.
An Unexpected Turn
He always used to miss his family while living in Africa but he finally decided to quit his job when his father got a heart attack. Since he was the closest and the most adored child of his family, he took the hard decision of leaving his perfect life in Africa and coming back to India. Unfortunately, the health of his father declined but he is glad he could be there for his father in his last years.
Amandeep Singh’s brother in law had a catering business in Patiala, so he offered him a job there. He thought of taking the business to a new level. He planned and worked hard to open up a food joint to extend the business. With the gain of deep knowledge about what’s good for a person’s health and what’s not while working in Africa, he designed a menu with the healthiest possible ingredients.
A silver lining
After a hundred of crumpled papers, thousands of emptied coffee mugs, they finally designed a heavenly place called, “Cool N Fire ”. The place was inaugurated in the year 2018.
Amandeep Singh took special care of the ingredients used to prepare the food.
“Did you know the ice cream bricks are sold per liters instead of kilograms even if they are solid?”
asks Amandeep Singh.
He closely examined the health factors to ensure that there is no nutrient loss in the meals served at his place. He believes that the reason behind the availability of his health-conscious products is most probably because of his experience of seven years of working in a medicinal firm.
- He uses a multigrain pizza base instead of the usual all-purpose flour (Maida).
- He came across that the shakes served in most of the cafes were just made out of already available products in the market. He says that he instead uses fresh and real fruits to make his shakes.
- His father had diabetes, so he knows what are the struggles diabetic patients face avoiding sugar and a lot more. Thus, he has a range of food items made using sugar-free which not only the diabetic patients but also the health-conscious people can eat without any second thoughts.
- In his kitchen, the ice cream is made from scratch. They don’t buy the ice creams already available due to the added sweeteners and preservatives. He uses real fruits to make mouth-watering ice creams.
- The smoothies available at Cool N Fire are a lot in demand as they are made out of fresh fruits and give you a home-like feeling.

He wants to pass on the message to the readers that they should buy the packed food items responsibly. At Cool N Fire, he serves “Jal”, which is bottled water and is purified with an accurate value of TDS.
Another famous item from the menu is their “Nitrogen Ice cream”. The place is known because of its concept of nitrogen ice creams. This makes their place unique and worth paying a visit.
The Superhero Interior of Cool N Fire
Amandeep Singh says that he was a huge fan of Marvel and other superheroes since his childhood. He grew up watching movies of the same. Even while interviewing, he had an Avengers movie playing on the television. While finalizing the interior of the place, he planned upon keeping it superheroes themed. The place has a tall Hulk figure and an upside-down Spiderman on the roof. The walls too are beautifully painted as action figures. This makes the place a picturesque spot for young people.
The place also has a sweet couple’s spot. Amandeep Singh tells us that he has seen hundreds of proposals in front of his eyes and the majority of them turned out to be a yes. He finds happiness in the little things like these which gives him the satisfaction with the work he does.
Money Cannot Buy You Happiness
The founder tells us that he was happily working in Africa. He was earning a good sum of money along with a cozy place to live in. The only thing missing there was his family. He came all the way back to India because even though he was successful there, there always existed a void in his heart that only his loved ones could fill. After knowing the status of his father’s declining health, he took no time in leaving a perfectly comfortable life.
“Some fathers leave their empire for their heirs, but mine taught me the skills to build and run an empire of my own,”
proudly says, Amandeep Singh.
A lot of ups and downs came in his way. The lockdown affected him badly as the sales went down but he is calm enough to see the bigger picture. He believes that as soon as everything opens up, things will be just fine as he now has the support of his family. He says that he has seen both sides of the world, when he was earning a load of money but didn’t have his family around and the other when he is struggling but his family has his back. He chooses the later one as money cannot buy someone the warmth and happiness of a family.
