The prominent investors in Meesho are Facebook, SAIF Partners, Venture Highway, Sequoia Capital India,  RPS Ventures, etc. In July 2016, Meesho was funded by Y Combinator, which is a seed accelerator from California, USA. Meesho was one of the three companies from India which were selected for Y Combinator. Through the summer program of three months, Meesho developed funding of 120,000 dollars. Later in March and August of the same year, an Angel round and Seed round of funding was conducted respectively. Meesho was able to raise 3.4 million dollars in a Series A round of investment led by SAIF Partners in October 2017.

The Series B round was closed on June 7, 2018, which raised 11.5 million dollars. This round was dominated by Sequoia Capital India along with existing investors. The major investors in the Series C round were DST Partners, RPS Ventures, Shunwei Capital etc. This round, conducted in November 2018, was able to raise a total of 50 million dollars. In June 2019, Meesho became the first startup from India to receive an investment from Facebook. Their latest round of Series D funding was carried out in August 2019, which collected 125 million dollars.
